The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, specifically with commercial landscaping. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing bid proposals, reviewing bid documents, and working closely with our sales team to ensure project feasibility and profitability. This role requires an individual with exceptional analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and a deep understanding of construction plans. Experience with PlanSwift is a must. Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret construction plans and project specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.

• Participate in bid presentations and negotiations, providing clear and compelling explanations for our cost estimates.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with a strong focus on commercial landscaping.
• Proven experience preparing bid proposals and reviewing bid documents.
• Proficiency in PlanSwift or equivalent estimation software.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex construction plans and project specifications.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all estimates.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with the sales team and present to clients.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify potential risks or challenges and suggest appropriate mitigation strategies.
• A deep understanding of industry trends and market conditions, and the ability to adapt our pricing strategies accordingly.
• A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
