Job summary

JK Concepts is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Denver team. You will develop accurate and competitive estimates for commercial projects, coordinating with Sales, Project Management, Engineering, and Operations from preconstruction through completion.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of estimating experience in commercial construction, a construction management degree, and proficiency with estimating software; reading blueprints; and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of estimating experience in commercial construction or manufacturing
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• Experience with reading blueprints and architectural drawings
• Experience with estimating software (e.g., Project Pak/Tradesoft) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed bids with cost analysis, material alternatives, and recommendations
• Review project documents and specs to ensure accurate scope interpretation
• Communicate with clients, architects, and general contractors to clarify project details
• Identify and document discrepancies, errors, or omissions in bid documents
• Evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and vendor proposals
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment throughout the estimating process
• Manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000

Position Overview

JK Concepts is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will develop accurate and competitive estimates for commercial projects, ensuring all bids are thorough, timely, and aligned with project requirements. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Project Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to support successful project execution from preconstruction through completion.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
