  • Prepares reports by collecting, reviewing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Updates and safeguards the cost database through data entry and backups.
  • Supports team objectives by completing related tasks and contributing to outcomes.

Summary/Objective

The Estimator is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and organizing information that supports accurate project costing and the efficient flow of materials and components throughout production. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely coordination, clear communication, and smooth operational performance within the glazing industry.

Essential Functions

Experience & Education
  • 2 to 5 years of experience, preferably within the glazing industry
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with customer take‑offs and shop drawings
  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings
  • Proficiency with estimating software, including Glazier Studios and Bluebeam

Work Environment

This position is based in a professional office setting and requires on‑site attendance. The role regularly utilizes standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Remote work is not available.

Physical Demands

The position is primarily sedentary, though periodic filing tasks are necessary.
