Job summary

E.B. Mahoney Builders Inc is seeking a full-time Estimator to join our Bryn Mawr, PA team on-site. You will review plans and specs to prepare accurate takeoffs and cost estimates for custom homes and renovations, working closely with the design team and project managers.

You will price change orders, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and maintain budgets from preconstruction through completion. Attention to detail and strong communication are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating for custom home building or high-end residential renovation (luxury/high-end preferred).
• Demonstrated track record with vendor and subcontractor coordination, bid comparison, and pricing/terms negotiation.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and sequencing.
• Proficiency with estimating and project management software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Time management and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication with superintendents, project managers and external partners.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in CM/engineering/architecture preferred.

Responsibilities

Role Description
