Job summary

PCI in Spokane, WA is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead bid opportunities for our construction projects. You will perform quantitative takeoffs, establish labor productivity, and manage subcontractor pricing while collaborating with the project team.

This safety-sensitive role offers location-based packages and a compensation range of $90,000 to $110,000, with strong emphasis on vendor relationships, accurate cost analysis, and timely hand-off to operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimating construction projects.
• Experience with estimating/project management/managing specialty scopes of construction.
• Strong ability to read, understand and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work.
• Strong record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High level of attention to detail and cost analysis.
• Ability to accurately read schedules for sequencing and durations of applicable scopes of work.
• Proficient skills with takeoff/estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff and Quickbid.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, BlueBeam Revu, Procore, or PlanSwift.

Responsibilities

• Understand market conditions including competitive approach, backlog, risk level for work and other factors for margin.
• Be involved in internal bid reviews with supervisors and project team.
• Participate in customer alignment objectives of the branch by creating and maintaining positive customer relations.
• Contract administration for secured projects.
• Utilize wage and benefit schedules.
• Hand-off of secured projects to the Operations Team.
• Assist in other duties as assigned such as change order management or billings depending on the project(s).
• Support other members of the Estimating team for product line collaboration.

• Performing quantitative takeoffs on construction projects.
• Establish labor productivities for estimate.

• Strong ability to read, understand and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work.
• Strong record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships.

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management.

• Experience with working with union representatives is preferred. OSHA Certification.

• Local to Spokane, WA is preferred
