Your New Role
- Prepare and submit competitive bids for commercial site development projects
- Perform earthwork and quantity takeoffs using AGTEK, Bluebeam, or similar software
- Read and interpret blueprints and project documents for accurate estimating
- Manage and maintain plan logs and bid documentation
- Solicit, organize, and track pricing from vendors and subcontractors
- Coordinate with project management to perform job cost analysis and improve accuracy
- Prepare and manage RFIs and support preconstruction communication
- Utilize scheduling tools to plan and track project timelines
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
- Prioritize multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of estimating experience in construction, preferably in site excavation
- Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred
- Proficiency with AGTEK, Estimating Link, Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Strong understanding of site excavation means and methods
- Strong math, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
