Job summary

Falcone & Sons, Inc. in Aston Township, PA seeks an experienced estimator to prepare competitive bids for commercial site development. You will perform earthwork takeoffs, read blueprints, and coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate cost estimation and timely bid submission.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of estimating experience in construction, with proficiency in AGTEK, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project. A Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit competitive bids for commercial site development projects
• Perform earthwork and quantity takeoffs using AGTEK, Bluebeam, or similar software
• Read and interpret blueprints and project documents for accurate estimating
• Manage and maintain plan logs and bid documentation
• Solicit, organize, and track pricing from vendors and subcontractors
• Coordinate with project management to perform job cost analysis and improve accuracy
• Prepare and manage RFIs and support preconstruction communication
• Utilize scheduling tools to plan and track project timelines
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
• Prioritize multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of estimating experience in construction, preferably in site excavation
• Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred
• Proficiency with AGTEK, Estimating Link, Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Strong understanding of site excavation means and methods
• Strong math, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
