Job summary

Electrical Power Products, Inc. is seeking an Estimating Support to join the Estimating Team. You will perform data entry for proposal information and participate in growth opportunities within Project Estimating by taking initiative.

Responsibilities include high-accuracy data entry for estimates, BOM part-number entry for pricing validation, sending pricing requests to vendors, updating BOM pricing, and filing documents and folders. This role emphasizes organization and communication skills.

The Estimating Support role will report to the Estimating Manager

Job Summary

Estimating Support will work with the Estimating Team with data entry of our proposal information. Growth opportunities in Project Estimating if you desire to learn and take initiative.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Support the Estimating Department with data entry with a high level of accuracy.
• Entry of part numbers from Bill of Materials (BOM) to validate pricing for customer bids.
• Send out requests for pricing to vendors.
• Update pricing in our Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Accurately scan and file an assortment of documents and folders.

Requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office such as Word and Excel, and the ability to edit pdf files.
• Proficient computer and office equipment skills including experience using copiers/scanning machines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, and a high level of accuracy is required.
• Self-motivated, ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements

• Typically sits, grasps items, and performs keyboarding for the regular operation of a computer.
• Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about regularly.
• Lift, move or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
• Occasional exposure to typical manufacturing production physical hazards.
