Job summary

Riverhead Building Supply is seeking an experienced Estimating Specialist to join our team. You will review plans, prepare accurate estimates, and create quotes and material takeoffs for contractors and customers.

This role requires strong math, reading plans, and CRM experience, with the ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines while delivering superior service to our customers across Long Island and New England.

Qualifications

• Estimating experience in construction, building materials, millwork, or a related industry.
• Knowledge of construction practices, materials, and reading plans/specifications.
• Strong math, computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience with CRM systems, follow-up, and recordkeeping.
• Material takeoff experience and familiarity with millwork pricing software are a plus.
