Job summary

Assurance Manufacturing in Coon Rapids, MN, is seeking an Estimating & Sales Engineer II to join our employee-owned team. You will coordinate inside and outside sales activities, work with customers on orders, develop lead times with production, and quote prices while reviewing POs for accuracy.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, strong communication, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate both inside and outside sales activities.
• Work with customers on new or existing orders.
• Develop acceptable lead times with production.
• Quote prices and determine job costs; review purchase orders.
• Act as liaison between customers and Assurance Manufacturing departments.
• Travel to customers as needed.
• Follow ISO procedures in the sales/contract review process.
• Adhere to safety rules and guidelines.
• Assist with research and development of new products.
• Provide support to sales teams to communicate products and client needs.
