Job summary

Assurance Manufacturing, a leader in precision sheet metal fabrication, is seeking an Estimating & Sales Engineer II to coordinate inside/outside sales, develop quotes, and manage customer orders. The role requires reading blueprints, strong communication, and a background in engineering or related fields.

Travel to customers may be required, with a focus on meeting customer needs and maintaining ISO procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or field related to products and services being sold preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to read blueprints and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inside and outside sales activities.
• Work with customers on new or existing orders and develop lead times.
• Develop routings and quotes using standard forms to determine job costs.
• Quote prices and review customer purchase orders for accuracy.
• Serve as liaison between customers and Assurance Manufacturing departments.
• Support contract reviews and collaborate with Quality on customer requirements.
• Travel to customers as needed and follow ISO procedures.
