Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Estimating Project Management Intern in Menasha, WI to collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited institution pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or a relevant program.
• Knowledge of Accubid and blueprint reading is preferred.
• Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office Suite; general construction knowledge is advantageous.
• No prior work experience required; relevant coursework or internships helpful.

Responsibilities

• Reviews specification information and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Attends job site walk-throughs with Senior Estimator and/or Estimating Supervisor as necessary.
• Organizes bid components to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Performs takeoffs electronically on screen and from drawings (circuiting and scaling drawings, counting devices and equipment).
• Consults with clients, vendors, foremen, superintendents, and project managers to discuss and formulate estimates.
• Confers with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
• Finalizes and follows up on completed bids
• Processes miscellaneous paperwork
