Job summary

Tarsco, a TF Warren Company, is seeking a detail-oriented Estimating Engineer for our operations in Houston, Texas. This role involves preparing accurate cost estimates for shell and tube heat exchangers, specifically for industries such as oil & gas and petrochemical.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and have 1-3 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge in ASME and TEMA standards is essential, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in estimating or proposal engineering, preferably in pressure vessels, heat exchangers, or fabrication industries.
• Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII, TEMA, and relevant design codes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review customer inquiries, specifications, datasheets, and drawings.
• Develop detailed cost estimates for shell and tube heat exchangers.
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals within required timelines.
