Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating or cost analysis experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate labor, materials, and costs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with estimating systems preferred.
• Experience with heat exchangers, pressure vessels, or engineered equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications, drawings, and proposal requirements to determine project scope and estimating needs.
• Develop cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontracted services, and other costs.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Proposal Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and other teams to validate estimate assumptions.
• Prepare RFQs and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Analyze historical cost data and identify cost trends, discrepancies, and estimating risks.
• Maintain estimating documentation, data, and tools to support accuracy and consistency.
• Support proposal development by providing timely cost information and revisions.
