Metalforms (Beaumont) is actively seeking a Senior Estimator to support the sales process by delivering accurate quotes for shell and tube heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and other custom equipment. The role requires strong technical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to mentor junior estimators while coordinating with multiple internal teams.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in estimating ASME pressure vessels, shell and tube exchangers, or similar equipment.
• Ability to mentor junior estimators and improve estimating processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and commercial proposals for shell and tube heat exchangers and pressure vessels.
• Review RFQs, drawings, specs, and standards to evaluate scope and risks.
• Communicate with customers to clarify requirements and terms throughout the bid process.
• Create material takeoffs, BOMs, and labor estimates for accurate costing.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, purchasing, and quality teams to reflect requirements in proposals.
• Review vendor quotes for compliance and alignment with project requirements.
• Mentor junior estimators and support continuous improvement of estimating practices.
