Job summary

Michael Page's client, a reputable commercial general contractor, is seeking an estimating support professional to assist in preconstruction and bidding, coordinate with subcontractors, and help organize bid packages.

You will make frequent outbound calls, track responses, and liaise with estimators, project management, and field teams to ensure timely submissions while maintaining a collaborative office environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience within the construction industry.
• Previous estimating experience within commercial construction.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Confident verbal communication skills and willingness to make frequent outbound calls.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented approach with a strong work ethic.
• Coachable attitude and willingness to learn from experienced construction professionals.

Responsibilities

• Support the estimating team throughout the preconstruction and bidding process.

• Make a high volume of outbound calls to subcontractors, typically 150-200 calls per week.
• Assist with project setup and bid administration activities.
• Organize, file, and maintain bid documents and project information.

• Coordinate information between estimators, project management, and field teams.
• Help ensure estimates and bid packages are complete, organized, and submitted on time.
• Contribute to a collaborative office environment with regular team communication and coordination.

Job Description

What's On Offer

• Base salary $60,000 - $85,000
