Job description

Assist Senior Estimator in obtaining necessary information to generate and send quotes to customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Work with Construction Coordinator and Estimations to obtain job start information.
• Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
• Process frame starts and distribute to field and yard Superintendents.
• Prepare new projects for shipment to the field.
• Data entry of job starts and other estimating projects.
• Assist in the lumber yard when necessary.
• Other duties as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• At least three-years previous experience in the construction industry in a similar role.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Ability to read, understand and organize construction plans and specifications.
• Ability to work independently.
• Effective in professional communication skills-verbal and written.
• Detail oriented, ability to multitask, and have flexibility.
• Time management skills, prioritize responsibilities. Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be proactive and show initiative.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and have good attendance.
