Job summary

Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa on Amelia Island seeks an experienced spa team member to provide professional facial and cosmetic treatments from the current menu for hygienic or therapeutic purposes. You will stay informed on trends, deliver services per standards, and contribute to guest safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities include guiding guests, sharing resort information, conducting salon tours, and assisting with product inventory.

Qualifications

• Current State Cosmetology License
• 1 year minimum experience in hair services
• Must be available to work weekends
• Effective communicator
• Flexible and cooperative
• Self motivated
• Able to sit, stand and walk up to 8 hours
• Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
• May be required to work evenings and overtime occasionally

Responsibilities

• Maintains up to date knowledge of all treatments and services offered on the current salon treatment menu, as well as trends and developments within the professional spa community related to products, treatment and techniques.
• Provides treatments in accordance with established standards and protocols within the assigned structure.
• Demonstrates commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and employee partners, damage to our property or the property of others.
• Knows the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.
• Knows and share information about the resort and activities, demonstrate this knowledge by accurately communicating daily events, hours of operation and resort/activity information to our guests and employee partners
• Conducts tours of the salon and related facilities.
• Participates in periodic product inventory as scheduled.
