Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis seeks an Esthetician to join our talented team. You will perform skin treatments, waxing, and assessments, while upholding guest hospitality and service standards in a luxury spa setting.

Required are an MN Esthetician license and at least two years in a high-volume spa or hotel environment; retail sales experience is a plus. Competitive hourly wage with tips and full-time benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold MN Esthetician license; Advanced Practice license preferred.
• Minimum two years in a high-volume spa/health club, hospitality/hotel environment preferred.
• Retail sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of treatment protocols, waxing, and skin assessments.
• Set up and maintain spa areas and provide refreshments in treatment areas.
• Deliver hospitality at the highest level; handle requests and complaints.
• Assist guests with appointments related to spa services.
• Maintain inventory and presentation of supplies in treatment rooms and lounges.
• Ensure rooms are stocked with linen and supplies; keep areas clean.
• Use reservation systems and guest databases to ensure satisfaction.
• Adhere to Four Seasons standards and service sequences.
• Prepare, operate, and sanitize equipment in rooms and spa areas.
• Follow opening/closing checklists and maintain equipment condition.
• Collaborate professionally with colleagues and supervisors.
• The role is physical; candidates must meet essential functions.

About the role

What you will do

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of various treatment protocols, waxing and skin assessments.
• Setup and maintain Spa including refreshments in pre-treatment and treatment areas.
• Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism; accommodate special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with Spa services.
• Assist guests to their appointments as they relate to Spa services.
• Ensure an adequate supply of all guest supplies and amenities within the treatment room and lounges and ensure immaculate presentation of these items.
• Ensure treatment rooms are fully stocked with linen and supplies at all times.
• Maintain clean work areas in Spa Dispensary and Staff Room.
• Appropriately utilize reservation systems, maintenance records, and Guest Experience database as vehicles of communication to ensure guest satisfaction with all services provided.
• Adhere to Four Seasons standards and treatment sequences of service.
• Properly prepare, operate, and clean/sanitize all equipment in the treatment rooms and Spa areas.
• Ensure compliance of daily and opening/closing checklists by walking and ensuring all areas of treatment rooms are well maintained, stocked, and cleaned to ensure high quality presentation and repair of all equipment.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• This position is physical by nature and requires candidates to meet all of the essential functions of this position.

What you bring

• High School diploma
• Possess a current Esthetician license from the MN Board of Cosmetology; Advanced Practice license preferred
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar high-volume spa/health club operation, preferably within hospitality/hotel environment
• Retail sales experience preferred
