Carolina-Age-Management-Institute (CAMI) seeks a Licensed Esthetician / Guest Service Coordinator for a hybrid role combining hands-on skincare with front-office support. You will perform esthetic services, conduct skin consultations, educate patients on products, and ensure a seamless guest experience from check-in to checkout.

The ideal candidate has a valid esthetician license, strong customer service skills, and comfort moving between treatment rooms and the front desk while supporting

Qualifications

  • Current esthetician license required by state.
  • Experience in esthetics, preferably medical aesthetics or luxury spa environments.
  • Front desk, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Polished, service-oriented, and professional.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience with scheduling, POS, and patient management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform esthetic services within licensure scope (facials, peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling).
  • Conduct thorough skin consultations and tailor treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on medical-grade skincare products and at-home regimens.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and stay updated on protocols.
  • Support front desk duties: scheduling, check-in/out, payments, and patient questions.
  • Assist with retail product sales and maintain product displays and inventory.
  • Collaborate with providers to optimize patient flow and experience.
  • Contribute to ongoing training to stay current with services and trends.

CAMI is seeking a Licensed Esthetician / Guest Service Coordinator to join our team. This hybrid role combines hands-on esthetic services with front-office guest support, making it an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about skincare and enjoys creating an exceptional experience throughout the entire patient journey.

The Licensed Esthetician / Guest Service Coordinator will provide high-quality esthetic treatments while also supporting scheduling, patient communication, check-in and checkout, and other day-to-day guest service needs. The ideal candidate is flexible, polished, service-oriented, and comfortable moving between the treatment room and front desk based on the needs of the practice.

Job Responsibilities
Esthetic Services
  • Perform esthetic services within the scope of licensure and training, including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, and other skincare treatments offered by the practice.
  • Conduct thorough skin consultations and recommend personalized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs and aesthetic goals.
  • Educate patients on medical-grade skincare products, services, and appropriate at-home skincare regimens.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of CAMI's services, products, treatment protocols, and current promotions.
  • Recommend appropriate products and additional treatments to support patient outcomes and long-term treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, infection-control, and treatment protocols.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment rooms.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to remain current on products, services, techniques, and industry trends.
Guest Service & Front Office Support
  • Provide a welcoming, professional, and elevated experience for patients from initial contact through checkout and follow-up.
  • Support patient check-in and checkout, appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and confirmation.
  • Answer incoming calls and assist with patient questions regarding appointments, services, products, and general practice information.
  • Maintain accurate patient information and appointment documentation within practice systems.
  • Collect payments and assist with other checkout responsibilities as needed.
  • Help maximize the schedule by proactively filling openings, managing cancellations, and supporting patient rebooking.
  • Educate patients on available services, promotions, memberships, and products when appropriate.
  • Support retail product sales and maintain organized product displays and inventory areas.
  • Assist providers and other team members with patient flow and day-to-day practice needs.
  • Perform additional administrative and operational duties as needed to support the success of the practice.

Requirements

  • Current and valid esthetician license as required by the state.
  • Previous esthetics experience preferred, particularly within a medical aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or luxury spa environment.
  • Experience with medical-grade skincare products and advanced esthetic treatments strongly preferred.
  • Prior front desk, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting patient relationships.
  • Highly service-oriented with a warm, polished, and professional approach.
  • Comfortable recommending and selling skincare products and aesthetic services based on patient needs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using scheduling, point-of-sale, and electronic patient management systems.
  • Collaborative and willing to step into both clinical esthetic and guest service responsibilities based on the needs of the practice.
  • Passion for aesthetics, skincare, and delivering an exceptional patient experience.
