Withum's Red Bank, NJ office seeks a Private Client Services Tax Supervisor to lead engagements and mentor staff. You will oversee planning, execution, and client relationships for high net worth individuals and estates.

Expect active tax planning, research of complex issues, and collaboration with seasoned CPAs in a dynamic firm. The role emphasizes leadership, client service, and the ability to manage multiple engagements while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Licensed CPA, or working toward CPA certification with parts passed.
• Masters of Science in Taxation is preferred but not required.
• At least 4 years of public accounting experience.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with proven ability to build client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects.
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills; excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning to completion and supervise staff.
• Build and maintain client relationships for high net worth clients.
• Oversee billing and collections of clients.
• Provide tax planning and consulting for estate and individual income taxes.
• Research and draft memoranda on complex tax matters.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently with teams to meet deadlines.
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff; participate in professional development.
