Geffen Mesher & Company is seeking a Tax Senior Manager for their Estate & Trust team. You will lead estate, gift & trust tax planning strategies to minimize transfer taxes and maximize wealth for heirs. You’ll develop rapport with clients and collaborate across service lines.

The role offers hybrid work options and opportunities to work with high-net-worth individuals and family entities, with a strong emphasis on client service and technical leadership.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or similar discipline.
• 7+ years' fiduciary preparation experience, preferably with a CPA firm.
• CPA or in the process of becoming one.
• Strong background with high-net-worth individuals, family organizations, and closely held entities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office software.

Mansioni

• Analyze estate planning documents including wills, codicils, and trust instruments.
• Prepare and review gift tax returns, including trusts.
• Preparation of fiduciary accounting.
• Client management and liaison with estate attorneys.
• Engage in special projects related to client matters involving tax accounting, consulting, and research.
• Plan, supervise and complete complex engagements.
• Provide superior client service and maintain quality client relationships.
• Supervise staff and senior accountants on multiple engagements and evaluate progress.
• Keep abreast of tax changes and issues affecting clients.
• Collaborate across teams to share knowledge and develop processes.
