Orion Placement in San Jose, CA is seeking an experienced attorney to manage estate planning and probate matters from intake to conclusion. You will draft and review documents and coordinate with clients and the legal team to ensure comprehensive planning and compliant filings.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 2+ years of probate, estate planning, trusts and estates, or related probate litigation experience.
• Interest in long-term career in trusts and estates matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage estate planning and probate matters from intake through conclusion.
• Draft and review estate planning documents; assist clients with comprehensive planning.
• Handle probate administration including court filings.
• Work on special needs planning and trusts and estates matters.
• Assist with court supervised trusts, trust administration, and accountings.
• Support conservatorship matters and complex court supervised processes.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts and other parties.
• Conduct legal research and develop practical solutions.
• Collaborate with senior attorney and staff to move matters efficiently.
