Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a mid-level Trust and Estate Paralegal with a focus on tax returns for our Haddonfield, NJ team. You will prepare gift, estate, and inheritance tax filings and perform in-depth research on trusts and tax matters.

You will liaise with clients, attorneys, and tax advisors to gather information, assist in drafting estate planning documents, and support trust administration while staying abreast of ongoing tax law changes to ensure accurate filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Paralegal certification is a plus.
• Strong research and analytical abilities are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file gift, estate, and inheritance tax returns.
• Conduct research on complex tax issues related to trusts and estates.
• Coordinate with clients, attorneys and tax advisors for information.
• Assist attorneys in drafting estate planning documents and trust agreements.
• Support administration of trusts and estates, including asset distribution and closing procedures.
• Monitor tax law changes and provide updates to the team.
