Job summary

Williams Selyem in Healdsburg, CA seeks a warm, engaging Tasting Salon Host & Wine Educator to join our Hospitality team on a part-time basis. You’ll guide guests through private tastings, share stories, and tailor experiences with guest-focused service.

Responsibilities include reservations, guest profiles in Commerce7, and supporting member events, with a strong emphasis on knowledge of our wines and a welcoming presence for all guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Warm, engaging host with a passion for wine.
• Ability to guide tastings and share stories with guests.
• Comfort with reservations and guest communications.
• Experience in winery hospitality or luxury service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead private tastings and Estate tours, sharing the Williams Selyem story and explaining wines and vineyards.
• Tailor experiences to guests' interests and knowledge, delivering personalized service.
• Strengthen relationships with existing members and introduce prospective members to the Allocation List.
• Guide wine and merchandise purchases with recommendations and accurate order entry.
• Respond to inquiries by phone, email, and RedChirp; maintain guest profiles in Commerce7.
• Assist with member outreach and hospitality initiatives related to events.
• Prepare tasting spaces, support setup/breakdown for events and tastings.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of guest areas, including restrooms.
• Track inventory and collaborate with colleagues across departments.
