Job summary

Blue Moon Estate Sales in Laurel, MS is seeking part-time team members to assist with client sales on weekdays and weekends. You will be on the floor, interacting with customers, restaging items, and helping create an inviting sale environment in clients’ homes.

The role may evolve to cashier duties, handling cash, and operating the POS system. We value ethics, patience, punctuality, and a willingness to learn pricing, with reliable transportation and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Willingness to learn basic product pricing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers during the sale.
• Remove, sort and organize items in clients’ homes.
• Place items in a logical manner for display.
• Stage items to create a pop-up retail environment.
• Evaluate and attach price stickers or tags.
• Control crowds and maintain access to restricted areas.
• Negotiate pricing under direction of the Field Manager.
• If assigned, process checkouts using the POS system.
• Handle cash and balance registers as needed.
