Job summary

Blue Moon Estate Sales of Montgomery, Frederick & Central MD is seeking part-time team members to support client sales across weekly events. You’ll be outgoing, friendly, and attentive to customers while on the floor.

Responsibilities include restaging items, placing price stickers, guiding shoppers, and assisting with cashiers as needed. Training and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move items safely.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Willing to work flexible hours and locations.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers during the sale.
• Remove, sort and organize items at clients' homes.
• Place items in a logical display throughout each home.
• Stage items to create a pop-up retail environment under direction.
• Evaluate and price items or lots for sale.
• Control crowds and manage access to restricted areas.
• Negotiate pricing as directed by the Field Manager.
• If assigned, process checkout on the POS system and balance cash.
• If assigned, balance registers before and after sales.
