Job summary

Aunt Ann’s In-House Staffing is seeking a skilled Property Manager/Groundskeeper for a long-term estate in Modesto, CA. The role manages a large private estate, including 80 acres with 3-acre main residence, overseeing landscaping, handyman tasks, and general property operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in estate or high-end residential caretaking, a college degree or equivalent experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in estate management, rural property caretaking, or high-end residential landscaping/handyman work with excellent references.
• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Self-motivated, attentive to detail, and able to work independently without daily supervision.
• Comfortable navigating large rural land.

Responsibilities

• Landscaping & horticultural care for an extensive estate, including gardens and hedges, with pruning and irrigation management.
• Conduct periodic perimeter and land inspections, addressing fencing and boundary concerns, and monitoring for wildlife.
• Perform proactive handyman tasks around the main home and outbuildings; diagnose minor plumbing, electrical, or structural issues; manage vendors and ensure irrigation, lighting, and gates operate properly.
