Job summary

Trojack & Associate Law Office, P.A. in Minnesota seeks a motivated Paralegal to support attorneys in probate, estate administration, trusts, guardianships, and real estate matters.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of handling multiple files in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include drafting and proofreading pleadings, filing documents with courts, managing calendars, conducting legal research, and coordinating with clients and experts.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.
• Prior law firm or legal administrative experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Minnesota probate and estate procedures is strongly preferred.
• Experience with legal case management software, including iManage and PCLaw, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct telephone calls professionally and courteously.
• Communicate with clients, courts, financial institutions, and third parties.
• Draft, proofread, and edit pleadings, correspondence, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Prepare and electronically file documents with state courts and government agencies.
• Maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and document management systems.
• Schedule client meetings, hearings, depositions, and attorney appointments.
• Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other resources.
• Assist with probate and trust administration, guardianship and conservatorship proceedings, and real estate matters.
• Track case progress and support attorneys in meeting deadlines and project objectives.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
