Job summary

Mercer Advisors is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal (Estate Planning Specialist I) to support Attorneys and estate planning teams with document-intensive tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will review deeds and funding documents, coordinate with county recorders, manage workflows, and assist in forming entities and drafting estate planning documents, while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate required.
• Knowledge of WealthDocs required.
• Focused on proactive follow-up and follow-through.
• Excellent organization, time management, proofreading, and word processing skills.

Responsibilities

• Review deeds, assignments, and funding documents.
• Coordinate with county recorders to file deeds and verify fees.
• Manage workflows related to funding and related tasks.
• Assist in formation of entities and filings.
• Prepare summaries of existing estate plans.
• Support creation of estate planning documents and data entry into legal software.
• Other duties as assigned.
