Job summary

Rhoades Levy Law Group P.C. in Northbrook, IL is seeking an experienced estate planning paralegal to join a fast-paced, collaborative team.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of estate planning experience, a paralegal certification is a plus, and strong skills in Microsoft Office and document management.

You will support attorneys in all phases of estate planning, manage client files, and help prepare trusts, wills and related documents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an estate planning paralegal.
• Paralegal certification is a plus or relevant work experience will be considered.
• Experience with Microsoft Office resources (Outlook, Word, Excel), PDF software and document management software.
• Smokeball experience is a plus.
• Experience with trust administration, probate, and related software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in all phases of estate planning.
• Draft estate planning documents including trusts and wills.
• Prepare powers of attorney for health care and property.
• Collect and organize financial data for revocable trusts.
• Manage and maintain client files, digital and physical.
• Conduct legal and financial research as needed.
• Communicate professionally with clients and advisors.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise independent judgment.
