Job summary

Sari Law Firm in Irvine, CA is seeking a hands-on estate planning paralegal with at least one year of experience drafting wills and trusts.

You will draft documents, manage client files from intake through execution, coordinate notarization, and support trust funding. This is an in-person role based in our Irvine office.

Ideal candidates will know California estate planning law, hold a CA paralegal certificate or equivalent experience, and be able to work on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year as a paralegal in estate planning drafting wills and trusts.
• Working knowledge of California estate planning law and document standards.
• Paralegal certificate per CA BPC 6450 or qualifying equivalent experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to work in-person in Irvine office.

Responsibilities

• Draft wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, and directives.
• Prepare and manage client intake and estate planning questionnaires.

The Role

You will support our estate planning practice with a focus on wills and trusts. You will draft documents, manage client files from intake through execution, and keep matters moving. This is hands‑on work for someone who has already done it.

Responsibilities

• Draft wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, and certifications of trust
• Prepare and manage client intake and estate planning questionnaires
• Coordinate document execution, including notarization and witness requirements
• Support trust funding and asset transfer documentation, including deeds, account retitling, and beneficiary designations
• Maintain client files and track matter deadlines
• Communicate with clients on document status and next steps

Required

• Minimum one year as a paralegal in estate planning, specifically drafting wills and trusts
• Working knowledge of California estate planning law and document standards
• Paralegal certificate meeting California Business and Professions Code section 6450, or qualifying equivalent experience
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to work in‑person in our Irvine office

Preferred

• Trust funding and asset transfer experience, including deed preparation and account retitling
• Fluency in Spanish and English
• Experience with Clio or comparable practice management software
• Located in Orange County

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary: $4,500 to $6,000 per month, depending on experience.
