Job summary

Rosenblum Law in Clifton, New Jersey seeks an Estate Planning Attorney (Mid-Level) to own draft review, raise plan quality, and help build a scalable estate planning practice. You will work with a paralegal team to review initial drafts, establish standards, and lead an attorney review group to deliver polished documents.

You will oversee templates, checklists, and SOPs while collaborating with leadership to expand matters and strategies offered.

Qualifications

• J.D. with active NJ bar admission in good standing.
• 3+ years estate planning drafting experience including Revocable Living Trusts.
• 3+ years drafting revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
• Strong knowledge of WealthCounsel or similar document-assembly software.
• Sharp eye for detail with ability to provide clear, actionable feedback.
• Knowledge of federal estate and gift tax and NJ inheritance tax.
• Strong organizational skills to manage a steady volume of drafts against deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Build out the draft review team and oversee review of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
• Provide clear feedback to drafters and track recurring issues.
• Create and maintain review checklists, templates, and quality standards.
• Refine templates, clause libraries, and drafting SOPs.
• Coach paralegals and drafters; conduct short trainings and onboarding.
• Draft or revise complex estate plans, including specialized clauses and special needs planning.
• Support client experience by participating in strategy sessions and signings.
• Stay current on estate, tax, and elder law developments and update documents as needed.
