Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed with the California State Bar
• 3+ years of estate planning experience handling matters from inception to conclusion
• Effective, clear, concise, and accurate communication with clients
• Working knowledge of finance, investments, and taxes
• Strong ability to focus under pressure and meet deadlines
• Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, and integrity with client information
• Experience with MS Office, timekeeping, and case management software
• Experience with WealthCounsel drafting is desired

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial consultation with clients
• Identify the appropriate estate planning strategy to meet client objectives
• Draft estate planning documents including wills and trusts
• Explain complex legal concepts and all provisions of the estate plan to clients
• Self-start, meet deadlines, multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Regularly consult with clients, accountants, and financial advisors
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients and cultivate relationships
• Report on caseload at weekly case review meetings
• Develop a client following to increase firm revenues
