Job summary

Legacy Law Firm, P.C. is opening a new Johnston office and seeks an attorney with a passion for estate planning, tax strategy, and business planning. You will work with individuals, families, and business owners, while mentoring remotely with the Sioux Falls team.

The role offers growth, leadership potential, and a collaborative culture in a boutique practice. The firm emphasizes excellent client service, flexible scheduling, and a comprehensive benefits package as you help clients transfer

Qualifications

1) J.D. from an accredited law school and Iowa license to practice.
2) Estate planning and trusts experience preferred.
3) Leadership ability and drive to manage cases with limited supervision.
4) Desire to build a long-term career in a boutique firm.

Responsibilities

Meet with individuals, families, business owners, and farmers to design customized estate plans.
Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, business succession plans, and related documents.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on advanced estate, tax, and business planning.
Build trusted relationships with clients and referral partners.
Support Johnston office workflow and client service standards.
Guide support staff.
Coordinate with Sioux Falls team for consistency.
