Job summary

Bonham Solutions is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney in San Diego to manage a full caseload from start to finish, collaborating with clients, colleagues and support staff to deliver thoughtful, high-quality planning.

The firm emphasizes professional development, mentorship, and ongoing learning, with a growth-oriented, collaborative environment. Candidates should have 3+ years of estate planning experience and California Bar membership.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing of the State Bar of California.
• 3+ years of estate planning experience.
• Experience with trust administration and probate.
• Strong drafting, analytical and client communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple matters.
• Estate planning certification or an LL.M. in Taxation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to assess their goals and design estate plans that fit their needs.
• Draft and review wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives and related documents.
• Handle trust administration and estate administration matters.
• Manage probate matters, including filings and court appearances.
• Advise clients on asset protection, wealth transfer and tax considerations.
• Work with financial advisors, CPAs and other professionals on client matters.
• Supervise and work with paralegals and support staff.
