Job description

You’ve built your legal experience. Your next role should give you the opportunity to use it, make a difference for clients, and still have time for the life you’ve built outside the office.

We’re looking for an experienced Estate Planning and Probate Attorney who wants substantive legal work, direct client relationships, and a team that works together to get things done.

Bring your experience and judgment. Help clients through important decisions. Do good work alongside people who care.

What Makes Our Firm Different

Our firm helps individuals and families plan for the future and navigate estate and trust administration with clarity, care, and confidence. Integrity, honesty, and stewardship guide how we serve our clients and how we treat one another.

We take our work seriously. We also believe a well-run firm should make it easier to do your work well.

  • Collaboration over hierarchy. We work side by side, communicate openly, and value every team member’s contribution. You’ll be an active part of the team, helping shape solutions and supporting our shared success.
  • Better systems, less unnecessary friction. Clear processes and practical performance measures help us stay organized, keep matters moving, and deliver work when promised. Our approach is structured and data-informed, without adding administrative work for its own sake.
  • A sustainable approach to practicing law. Efficiency isn’t about asking people to do more with less. It’s about removing unnecessary obstacles, needless hours, and recurring fire drills. Our goal is for you to be fully engaged at work and able to leave it at the office when the day is done.

This is a part-time role with meaningful responsibility, not a position on the sidelines.

What You’ll Do
  • Estate Planning: Lead client consultations and prepare comprehensive estate plans, including trusts and incapacity-planning documents, using the firm’s established processes and quality standards.
  • Trust Administration: Guide matters from initial review through completion, working closely with clients and support staff to keep administrations accurate, organized, and on schedule.
  • Probate Administration: Oversee formal and summary administrations from intake through completion. Review staff-prepared pleadings, provide clear legal direction, and help ensure accurate and timely court filings.
  • Client Stewardship: Lead consultations and document signings with clarity, patience, and sound judgment. Help clients understand their options and make decisions that reflect their circumstances and goals.
  • Team Collaboration: Be a trusted legal resource for a capable support team that is eager to learn. Provide practical guidance, constructive feedback, and the legal insight that helps everyone do better work.
What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an attorney who brings sound judgment, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys collaborating with both clients and colleagues.

Required qualifications:
  • A Juris Doctor and active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar.
  • Three or more years of experience practicing estate planning and probate.
  • Availability for a part-time, 20-25 hours per week, in-office schedule in Oldsmar.
  • Excellent drafting skills and a strong commitment to detail and accuracy.

Your Experience Matters. So Does Your Time.

We’re building a firm where clear expectations, shared accountability, and thoughtful collaboration support excellent client service and a sustainable professional life.
