Job summary

Bonham Solutions in the Greater Sarasota area seeks an Elder Law & Estate Planning Attorney to join a mid-sized team. The attorney will handle elder law, estate planning and guardianship matters, guiding clients and families through sensitive decisions, with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities include client meetings, drafting documents, guardianship proceedings and coordination with families and professionals. This position is primarily in-office in Greater Sarasota.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing of The Florida Bar.
• 1+ years of experience in elder law, estate planning and/or guardianship.
• Strong drafting, organizational and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient demeanor with clients and families.
• Able to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced practice.

• Meet with clients and families to understand their goals and recommend planning strategies.
• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare surrogate designations and related documents.
• Handle guardianship matters, including petitions, court filings and hearings.
• Assist with elder law matters such as long-term care and incapacity planning.
• Support probate and trust administration matters as needed.
• Work with families, caregivers, financial advisors and other professionals.
• Work closely with the firm's attorneys and support staff to deliver excellent client service.

A respected law firm in the Greater Sarasota area is looking for an Elder Law & Estate Planning Attorney. to join their team mid-sized team. The firm focuses on elder law, estate planning and guardianship. It is known for compassionate, client-centered service to seniors and their families throughout the region. Each attorney plays a meaningful role in the practice, works directly with clients and builds close working relationships across the team. The attorney will handle a range of elder law and estate planning matters guiding clients and families through important and often sensitive life decisions. Candidates must have at least a year in estate planning, probate or a related practice area to be considered for this role.
