Job summary

Orion Placement in Dayton, Ohio, is seeking a licensed estate planning attorney for a full-time, on-site position. You will own the estate planning process, meet firm-provided clients, and contribute to a revenue-based bonus structure while delivering exceptional service to seniors and families.

Requirements include a J.D., active Ohio Bar or ability to obtain promptly, and 2+ years in estate planning or elder law. Collaborative firm offering growth and meaningful work.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Ohio Bar license or ability to become licensed promptly.
• 2+ years of estate planning and/or elder law experience.
• Strong estate planning drafting and legal writing skills.
• Confidence leading client consultations and meetings.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Experience serving seniors and their families preferred.
• Ability to explain sophisticated legal concepts in plain language.

Responsibilities

• Meet with firm-provided prospective clients to understand goals, explain options, and recommend estate planning strategies.
• Counsel existing clients on reviewing, updating, and strengthening their estate plans as circumstances change.
• Design customized estate plans with focus on seniors and families.
• Draft and oversee wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
• Lead client consultations, document signings, and final plan delivery meetings.
• Explain complex legal concepts clearly so clients understand their plans and next steps.
• Maintain accurate, organized client files and ensure consistency across documents.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver an outstanding client experience from start to finish.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Location
