Job summary

Confidential Employer, a boutique estate planning and elder law practice, seeks an attorney to take ownership of the full estate planning process for seniors and families in Dayton, OH.

You will meet with firm-provided prospective clients, explain options, draft tailored plans, and lead consultations through signing and delivery. A performance-based bonus structure rewards results and client service excellence.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Ohio Bar license or ability to become licensed promptly.
• 2+ years of estate planning and/or elder law experience.
• Strong estate planning drafting and legal writing skills.
• Confidence leading client consultations and meetings.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Meet with firm-provided prospective clients to understand their goals, explain options, and recommend appropriate estate planning strategies.
• Counsel existing clients on reviewing, updating, and strengthening their estate plans as circumstances change.
• Design customized estate plans with particular attention to the needs of seniors and their families.
• Draft and oversee wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning and elder law documents.
• Lead client consultations, document signings, and final plan delivery meetings.
• Explain complex legal concepts clearly and practically so clients understand their plans and next steps.
• Maintain accurate, organized client files and ensure consistency across legal documents and records.
• Collaborate with our team to deliver an outstanding client experience from initial consultation through completion.
