Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Bellingham, WA seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in estate planning, probate and trusts to join an in-office, full-time practice. The role offers opportunity to build a client base, develop relationships, and progress toward ownership over time.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of legal experience, JD, and an active Washington State Bar license. You will draft documents, manage matters, meet clients, and work in a paperless, cloud-based environment.

Qualifications

• Approximately two to five years of legal practice experience.
• Experience in estate planning and probate preferred.
• Experience drafting estate planning documents and managing client matters independently.
• Small-firm experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters from intake through completion.
• Draft, review, and advise clients on estate planning documents such as wills and trusts.
• Handle probate administration, including court filings and distributions.
• Advise trustees and personal representatives on estate and trust administration.
• Manage related real estate and business transactional matters.
• Meet directly with clients and conduct signings.
• Provide informed counsel to clients with diverse family structures.
• Maintain organized and documented matters within a paperless, cloud-based practice.
