Role Description
The Estate Planning and Administration Attorney will provide counsel to clients on estate planning, estate administration, and probate matters, ensuring their goals are accurately reflected in legal documents and procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients, assessing their circumstances, drafting and reviewing estate planning instruments (such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney), and managing estate and probate files from intake through resolution. The attorney will collaborate with firm staff to maintain client communication, track case progress, and uphold high standards of service and professionalism. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cranberry Township, PA, requiring consistent presence in the office for client meetings and team coordination.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in Estate Planning and Estate Law.
- Experience handling Probate and Estate Administration matters from initiation through completion.
- Familiarity with Succession Planning, including strategies for transferring family wealth and business interests.
- Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania, in good standing.
- Strong client counseling skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in clear, accessible language.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Commitment to ethical practice, client-centered service, and collaborative work within a small firm environment.
- Prior experience in estate planning or elder law is preferred; courtroom or probate experience is a plus.
