Job summary

Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation is seeking an Estate Manager of Planned Giving to lead the administration and execution of the foundation’s planned giving program. You will oversee estate gift acceptance, ensure compliance, and coordinate with attorneys, donors, and internal teams to support stewardship and revenue projections.

Qualifications

• At least five years of direct experience in estate planning, estate or trust administration, or nonprofit fundraising operations.
• Experience reviewing and managing legal documents such as wills, trusts, probate filings, and gift agreements.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to track multiple estates, deadlines, and donor communications.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Senior Director to protect organizational financial and legal interests and manage estate gift processes.
• Coordinate with attorneys, executors, trustees, and families regarding planned gifts and distributions.
• Maintain estate files, reports, and donor records, including bequests and beneficiary designations.
• Lead donor stewardship, engagement, and LPAC/society initiatives in collaboration with multiple departments.
• Ensure CRM entries and SOPs are up to date; support revenue projections and governance of gifts.
