Children's Hospital Colorado Foundation seeks an Estate Manager of Planned Giving to administer the Foundation's planned giving program and manage estate/trust gift processing with a focus on compliance and thorough documentation.

You will lead donor stewardship, support LPAC activities, and coordinate with Finance, Donor Relations, Marketing, Gift Services, and Leadership to optimize gift outcomes and long‑term impact.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 5+ years as paralegal/legal assistant or estate planning background.
• Experience in estate/trust administration, planned giving, or nonprofit fundraising operations.
• Experience reviewing wills, trusts, probate filings, and gift agreements.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Protect organizational financial and legal interests.
• Manage estate, outright, non-cash asset gifts, and gift expectancies.
• Coordinate with attorneys, executors, trustees, and families on gifts.
• Guide document flow for estates and trusts, including distributions.
• Prepare correspondence for estate administration and distributions.
• Record probate status, distributions, and beneficiary information.
• Organize estate files, reports, and historic tracing of gifts.
• Lead donor stewardship and LPAC initiatives; grow society involvement.
• Collaborate with Finance, Donor Relations, Marketing, and Gift Services.
• Oversee CRM data entry and governance for planned gifts.
