Childhood First is seeking an Estates Maintenance Specialist to maintain their therapeutic community facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and estates work, along with good planning skills, whilst maintaining a friendly disposition around children. This is a full-time role with generous benefits including annual leave and a pension contribution.

We are seeking a thoughtful and multi-skilled professional to assist in the maintenance of our buildings, grounds and properties of Greenfields Therapeutic Community.
The person we are seeking will have good planning skills, qualifications and experience in building, estates, gardening or allied trades, knowledge of health and safety and will upkeep the estate to an appropriate standard. The following skills and abilities are also required;
– Prioritising workload in order to meet the demands of the community.
– A recognised qualification or minimum 5 yrs experience in allied trades, building and/or estate works.
– Good levels of physical fitness
– Accurate, methodical and well organised.
– Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team or use own initiative when required.
As the post is servicing the homes and school the Estates Maintenance Specialist will be working amongst children and therefore are expected to have a friendly disposition whilst maintaining appropriate boundaries.
