Abramslaw is seeking an Estate Litigation Associate to support and grow our estate litigation practice in the United States. This role emphasizes hands‑on training, mentorship, and significant client interaction, collaborating with senior attorneys to develop litigation‑related skills and Surrogate’s Court experience.

The position targets candidates with a solid foundation in estate litigation or recent graduates with exceptional potential, and offers broad exposure to estate disputes, court

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in New York.
• Two years of relevant experience preferred, or a newly admitted attorney who demonstrates exceptional potential
• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
• Interest or experience in alternative dispute resolution is a plus
• Salary range: $100,000 to $120,000 commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

• Shadowing Partner-level attorneys specializing in elder law, special needs planning, estate planning, estate administration, and guardianships.
• Assist a senior attorney who focuses on estate litigation and related litigation.
• Assist with commercial litigation arising from estate disputes.
• Provide support on Surrogate’s Court filings, litigation preparation, and case management.
• Engage in litigation tasks as needed.
• Take on more independent work as skills develop.

We are seeking an Estate Litigation Associate to support and expand our estate litigation practice. This role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and significant client interaction. The associate will work closely with senior attorneys and have the opportunity to develop skills in litigation-related work.

About the Role:

This position is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in estate litigation, or a recent law school graduate who demonstrates exceptional skill, drive, and potential.The associate will also support litigation-related work involving Surrogate’s Court matters and estate disputes. This component provides exposure to litigation strategy, court procedures, and case support responsibilities.
