Job summary

DFI Resources is seeking a hands-on Landscape/Garden Maintenance Specialist to oversee and assist in all aspects of grounds upkeep, seasonal color work, and plant care. You will coordinate with the Horticulture Manager, supervise teams, procure plants and supplies, and ensure high aesthetic standards across property grounds.

Qualifications

• College degree in horticulture or 3–5 years landscaping or nursery experience
• Excellent knowledge of landscape maintenance, seasonal color bed maintenance, pruning and fertilization
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; positive attitude
• Ability to operate heavy machinery (bobcat, loaders)
• Ability to safely handle and apply pesticides
• Read and maintain written records; follow safety regulations and driving requirements
• Knowledge of federal/state rules; maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Partner with Horticulture Manager to meet objectives and support the team
• Perform and oversee all landscape/garden maintenance and color coordination
• Recommend improvements to service detail and operations
• Lead gardening support activities and manage procurement and equipment
• Review surroundings for quality issues and coordinate repairs
• Assist with short/long-range plans and contractor supervision
• Monitor fuel levels for maintenance and family vehicles
• Complete miscellaneous projects and errands; maintain flexible schedule
