Job summary

High Hampton Inn in Cashiers, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, service, repair, and maintain electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general building components across the estate. You will use hand tools, coordinate with vendors, and ensure a safe, elegant environment for guests.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. Starting pay ranges from $19 to $25 per hour, depending on experience, with full-time hours and a focus on minimizing

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Some vocational courses related to the position preferred.

Responsibilities

Must possess and have on hand miscellaneous hand tools needed to complete minor maintenance repairs.
Must provide a clean and safe work environment during and after final completion of work.
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
Must be able to communicate and work with third party vendors, as well as possibly contact the appropriate vendor(s) in the event of an emergency.
Electrical: interior and exterior light bulb troubleshooting and replacement; wiring and basic electrical repairs.
Plumbing: upkeep, repair and replacement of plumbing fixtures; preventive maintenance inspections.
General: miscellaneous repair of building items; inspection and repair of exterior/roof components.
Golf Cart Maintenance: occasional troubleshooting and repair.
