The Role

As an Estate Administration Paralegal, you will play a key role in ensuring our clients receive top-level service and extreme relief that we are handling the stress of their administration. You will:

  1. Balance accounts in Excel, track client hours, conduct research, prepare court filings and client correspondence, assist with billing, and organize/maintain the client file.
  2. Ensure all documents are legally sound and compliant with relevant standards.
  3. Maintain confidentiality of client and personnel information in accordance with the firm's policies.

Responsibilities
  • Properly onboard new client matters.
  • Correspond with clients by phone, email, and in person.
  • Review client files to prepare Final Accounts and related documentation.
  • Conduct intra-office conferences with attorneys and team members.
  • Update case status in the database (Curo 365, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Keep client files current and gather information in a timely manner.
  • Track case status and record time in the database.
  • Provide updates and enter time into the firm's legal database.
  • Prepare procedures and checklists.
  • Perform legal research online and at courthouses, including deed research.
  • Prepare and proofread correspondence.
Qualifications
  • 1-5 years of experience in Estate Administration.
  • College degree or paralegal certification.
  • Comfortable with technology and digital workflows.
  • Understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documents related to estate planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
  • Professional demeanor focused on client service.
  • High attention to detail.
Compensation

$24 - $30 hourly
