If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estate Administration Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers the chance to work with a diverse array of clients and to play a pivotal role in our firm’s commitment to delivering excellent legal service.

Responsibilities

As an Estate Administration Paralegal, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting client intake meetings to gather necessary information and establish the scope of the estate.
  • Performing asset valuation to determine the value of the estate's assets.
  • Coordinating asset liquidation, as required, and ensuring all legal and financial obligations are met.
  • Conducting a comprehensive financial review of the estate to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Preparing and reviewing necessary legal documents, including wills, trusts, estate plans, and probate paperwork.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, court officials, and other legal professionals.
  • Managing deadlines and prioritizing tasks to ensure all estate administration duties are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Staying abreast of changes in estate law and adapting practices accordingly.

Job Details

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal
  • At least 2 years of experience with Estate Administration
  • Proven experience in client intake, asset valuation, asset liquidation, financial review, and document preparation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A high degree of professionalism and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in legal research databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
