Job summary

The Algiers Charter Schools Association is seeking an ESS Paraprofessional to provide instructional and behavioral support for students with exceptional needs. The role involves assisting in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and promoting student inclusion to ensure academic and emotional success.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience with children with disabilities is preferred.

This position offers a collaborative work environment in classrooms and other school settings, supporting both general and special education students.

Qualifications

• Completion of state-mandated paraprofessional certification or equivalent (if required).
• Experience working with children or students with disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of child development and instructional strategies.

Responsibilities
